1-30-02 Mectronic.net signs separate renewal agreements with passive components distributors PUI and CalCap. Passive components distributors Projections Unlimited, Inc. (PUI) with Headquarters in Tustin, Southern California and California Capacitors (CalCap) located in Milpitas, Northern California, agreed separately to renew their contracts with Mectronic.net this month for Inventory Search applications on their respective websites. PUI (www.gopui.com) has utilized Mectronic.net's Distributor MUSE Search function for the past 2 years to provide its customers and prospects with fast tools to make buying decisions from PUI stock. 1-15-02 - Kycon launches new Internet/Extranet website that integrates Lotus Notes and Epicore Platinum databases using XML. Kycon, Inc. of San Jose, California and found on the web at www.kycon.com, launched their revamped website after choosing Mectronic.net, Inc. to host, redesign and integrate their website with 2 back end databases using XML technology. Mectronic added several new website functions to enhance public information flow, including Parametric Search and Competitor's Cross Reference linked directly into Distributor and Factory Stock Search. A password protected Extranet was embedded in the Internet site, allowing access to additional factory inventory information by authorized users and business partners, such as distributors and key OEMs. The Extranet allowed for customer specific multi-tier pricing of parts with multi-level password control, as data was automatically updated from host legacy systems from Lotus Notes and Epicor's Platinum Software via XML to the website.

1-10-02 - Gowanda Electronics continues using services for Distributor Stock search provided by Mectronic.net. 8-7-01 - NJR Corporation adds website Cross Reference and Stock Search from Mectronic.net. NJR Corporation of San Jose, California, a subsidiary of Japan Radio Corporation, signed a contract to add Competitor's Cross Reference capabilities combined with Distributor Inventory Search to their corporate website at www.njr.com. "The part search and stock locator functions have received a great deal of praise from our reps and customers as well as our inside staff." states Mr. Kim Westfall, Marketing Manager at NJR Corporation.
